Dave Willems, CEO & Principal
What you might already know
A major supporter of community efforts, Dave enjoys working with non-profit groups and has volunteered to serve on more than a few boards and committees Appleton Downtown Rotary, Emergency Shelter of the Fox Valley, Building for Kids, Future Neenah, Inc., Community Clothes Closet, Universal Playground and more.
What you should know
Along with Dave's passion for community causes and experience with non-profits, he brings a hands-on approach and several years of marketing management expertise to his role as CEO. Before founding Willems Marketing in 1999, Dave served as vice president of marketing and vice president of corporate and community development for Network Health System. He received his degree in Communications from UW-Green Bay and his experience spans everything from business development, corporate image and reputation management to advertising, media relations and public speaking.
What you probably don't know
A "human Rolodex" of sorts, Dave has the unique ability to recall just about any phone number he's ever dialed a hidden talent that showcases his skill for keeping all the company's client and project happenings straight.

Paul Willems, COO & Principal
What you might already know
In his role as VP and COO, Paul heads up administrative and development efforts for the company, works closely with team members and clients to ensure quality control and oversees the company's direct marketing venture Money Saver Magazine.
What you should know
Paul's wide-ranging business and marketing expertise includes years of civic and government involvement with positions serving as a Green Bay alderman and Brown County Supervisor, Green Bay Administrative Officer, assistant to two Green Bay mayors and as the District Director for former U.S. Congressman Jay Johnson. He also has extensive experience on the entrepreneurial side of things as owner of several small businesses in addition to serving as senior vice president of sales/marketing and executive vice president for corporate development for an international entertainment firm. Paul graduated from UW-Green Bay with a degree in Urban Analysis (planning). While attending college, Paul served two years in the VISTA Action Program as neighborhood center coordinator for two Green Bay programs. Paul worked eight years in sales, marketing and management in connection with the tribal gaming industry.
What you probably don't know
Paul holds two patents related to the development of wireless electronic bingo devices and has created and produced an innovative television bingo game show (Minnesota 900 TV Bingo). Paul served as a battery commander (captain) in Vietnam and earned three Bronze Stars (one for valor). Paul is vertically dyslexic. He believes he is in the top 5% of all golfers.

Michelle Dejno, Vice President - Partner Services
What you might already know
Anyone who has worked with Michelle sees what a great job she does in her real-life "superwoman" role by finding a happy balance between work, family and everything in-between.
What you should know
An original member of the Willems Marketing team, Michelle spearheads the company's corporate branding efforts and works closely with clients to identify their marketing needs and ensure they receive high-quality, results-driven service. Michelle's outgoing personality complements her role as a project partner and her experience translates into superior marketing campaign management.
What you probably don't know
With Michelle's contagious can-do attitude, she's realized many major successes and achievements which include becoming a champion baton twirler.

David McHolland, Graphic Designer
What you might already know
Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, David has despite his disdain for winter adopted Wisconsin as his home for the past 10 years. As a designer, David uses his years (OK, decades) of experience to blend proven design techniques with unusual or unique twists.
What you should know
He's an experienced art director who's been designing marketing and promotional materials since before the advent of the computer. So, other than meaning he's "of a certain age," what does that mean for clients? Simply put, it means he's able to collect decades of design experiences into effective, unique and, yes, contemporary work for you.
What you probably don't know
As an avid baseball fan, David has traveled to games in eleven (and counting) major league ballparks. Despite their losing ways, he's a devout Pittsburgh Pirates fan. That stems from his time living in the 'burgh and having worked as a vendor at Pirate and Steeler games in the mid-1970s.

Cheryl Peotter, Vice President - Administrative Services
What you might already know
With a long list of work duties and responsibilities on her plate, Cheryl does an exceptional job of keeping the office in order and the staff on track.
What you should know
As both office manager and HR coordinator, Cheryl has perfected the ability to multi-task as she handles everything from daily accounting work to employee relations and payroll. A major asset to the company, she's been with Willems Marketing since 2000 and has over 15 years of related experience.
What you probably don't know
Cheryl admits to being a bit of a "smart alec" at times, but when it comes to faxing in a lunch order (and getting every detail right), she means serious business.

Tracey Saari, Project Manager
What you might already know
Strike up a conversation with Tracey, and it's easy to see how much she enjoys working with people and how dedicated she is to her job.
What you should know
Using her background and experience in TV, radio and film production, Tracey is a great resource in coordinating clients' media promotions and campaigns. She also helps out with a variety of projects on a daily basis and plays a big part in developing advertising plans and placing ads in local and regional publications.
What you probably don't know
With her love for the big screen, it's no surprise that Tracy is a major movie buff who's great at keeping everyone in the loop on the latest film releases and Hollywood gossip.

Erin Schroeder, Copywriter & Researcher
What you might already know
With over 10 years of professional writing experience, Erin has enjoyed crafting sentences since her pencil first hit the paper and is a person who truly loves what she does.
What you should know
Erin has experience in all types of writing including online, promotional and newsletter. She wears a variety of hats at Willems Marketing and takes on everything from researching projects and brainstorming taglines to writing brochures, web sites and sales promotions. Erin also helps clients optimize their web sites for better search engine rankings.

Defending her still undefeated title in Scrabble, Erin welcomes new challengers and takes her love for words pretty seriously.

Debra Sutton, Graphic Designer

Debra brings 15 years of design experience to Willems with an expertise in creative publication layout.

Debra continues to catapult her abilities to design advertising collateral. She uses her experience in the print publication and advertising world to help each client reach their goals.
What you probably don't know
She is an Office (the TV sitcom) freak and exercies her creative and artistic talents outside of the office by painting collages and making jewelry in her spare time.

Brenda Timm, Director of Strategic Communications & Online Services

An incredibly thorough and detail-oriented person, Brenda handles all her projects and client interactions with real dedication and professionalism.

Experiencing all sides of marketing with work in graphic design, project management and customer service, Brenda has spent 11-plus years in the field. At Willems, she coordinates clients' marketing needs and specializes in internet marketing services related to site planning and assessment. Brenda also plays an integral role in proofing with her "eagle eye" and attention to detail.

An avid music lover, Brenda recently started taking drum lessons, joined a community band and has a particular passion for playing percussion.

Lori Van Handel, Senior Public Relations Specialist

Always ready to take on a new challenge, Lori has a special talent for working with the media in setting up live TV coverage and coordinating event PR.
What you should know
With her studies and career spanning everything from radio, TV and film to reporting, photography and PR, Lori has a keen understanding for all aspects of marketing. She's built solid relationships with media contacts across the area and uses her PR expertise in developing story ideas and press releases for clients that result in publicity and news coverage.

A true journalist, Lori can be found spending her spare time reading or writing and hopes to publish a children's book in the future.

Mike Van Thull, Business Development Coordinator

As a much-relied-on utility player at Willems, Mike works closely with company principals Dave and Paul to help with all types of projects and details.

Mike coordinates business development efforts at Willems Marketing and helps with freshening of the Willems Marketing brand and self-promotion activities.

Mike's an avid basketball fan and follows the UNC Tar Heels closely. More importantly, he gives back to the community as the varsity head coach of the girls basketball program at Menasha High School. Go Bluejays!

Mary Willems, Project Specialist

Being part of the family-owned business, Mary has incredible perseverance and an equally impressive sense of humor.
What you should know
Mary's combined experience in customer service and marketing give her practical perspective when it comes to helping clients meet their goals. As a supporter and volunteer for several non-profit programs, Mary plays a key role in working with community-focused organizations throughout the Fox Cities.
What you probably don't know
With a keen memory for song lyrics, artists and titles, Mary's "Abra-Ca-Dabra" magic used for music trivia is also quite useful in mastering work project details.
